The Philosophy

We aim to elevate the barber reputation, the grooming experience, and the culture that revolves around self care. This is done because we believe everyone is deserving of an environment where they feel welcome, where they can be confident they will leave beautiful, where they feel heard, understood, and, above all, where they can be themselves.

I’ve been a barber since 2020, but I’ve been an artist for as long as I could hold a crayon. I know what it means to notice the details, seek out meaningful experiences, and feel driven to create. That’s why I founded Philo Barber Studio, a space for people who value the details, connection, and where even the most unique people can feel comfortable being themselves. I help people find themselves through hair, and I achieve that by listening to who they are as people. My mantra is “be the adult you needed most when you were a kid”. Some people have yet to meet that person, let’s change that. :)
